Hello Dear friends, I am so happy to finally be able to share with you the wonderful CD cover art for my upcoming "The Dead Man" CD!

It was done by the extraordinary artist and dear friend Keith Puccinelli, a man of immense talent, generosity and heart!!

"The Dead Man" is set up for release on March 7, 2017, however, it will be available for pre order on February 7, 2017. It was recorded in two night at Playback Studios in Santa Barbara, CA, with my trio/Quartet (Thank you guys, as always, you did an outstanding job: Jonathan Dane on trumpet & flugelhorn, Brendan Statom on acoustic bass and Daniel Zimmerman on guitars. Plus special guests Adam Asarnow on piano, Ramses Araya on percussion, Tom Buckner on sax and bass clarinet and Norma LaTuchie on flute). As always, mixed and mastered by Emmet Sargeant

Looking forward to the release. I am already working on the sequel to my "VOZ" CD as well. It is called "The Infinite Dream' and it will include once again the participation of singers Magos Herrera, Téka Penteriche plus Voice Lois as well.

I am happy to share the fact that my "VOZ" CD was recently nominated for an ACAM Award by the Costa Rican Society of Musical Authors & Composers for Jazz Composer/Producer of the Year 2016. This is my fourth nomination, and if I win, it will be my third award. I would like to share this with the wonderful singers Claudia Acuña, Magos Herrera and Téka Penteriche, plus the great Central American poets Romulo Castro, Luis Enrique Mejia Godoy, Jaime Gamboa and Osvaldo Sauma and my touring band members and musical brothers Daniel Zimmerman, Brendan Statom, Adam Asarnow and Jonathan Dane.
