PURA VIDA BAND WITH JIM MESSINA, FLORA PURIM AND OTHERS

My old Costa Rican friend and master precussionist Pepe Chacón just posted a bunch of great photos from the 80s and 90s, among them, many from Santa Barbara's premier Latin Jazz band Pura Vida. We ended up performing and/or recording with artists such as Jimmy Messina, Airto Moreira, Joe Cocker, Flora Purim, Pauline Wilson (singer of Seawind), Joe Farrell and many more. Check it out.
